Dorothy Young Memorial Electric Light Parade 2026: Dec. 12, 2026

One of Yuma’s favorite holiday traditions returns on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2026, as Visit Yuma presents the 24th Annual Dorothy Young Memorial Electric Light Parade.

This year’s theme, “America 250: Celebrating 250 Years of History,” invites participants to draw inspiration from the people, places, moments and traditions that have shaped our nation. Through creative floats, illuminated displays, music and performances, the parade will offer a festive tribute to our past while bringing our community together for a memorable night in Yuma.

A Yuma Holiday Tradition

For more than two decades, the Dorothy Young Memorial Electric Light Parade has been a highlight of the holiday season, filled with lights and community spirit.

Each year, the parade route comes alive with brilliantly decorated floats, vehicles, local organizations, performers and plenty of holiday cheer. Participants put their creativity on display while spectators line the streets to take in the sights and sounds of this beloved annual event.
